Preparation
Before IPL Color Correction:
• Avoid tanning your skin.
• Stop using topical creams such as Retin-A at least a week before your session.
• Start using a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
• Stop smoking at least six weeks before your session.
• Increase your water intake.
Aftercare
After IPL Color Correction:
• Avoid prolonged exposure to UV rays for at least a couple of days after the procedure.
• Do not try to remove scabs.
• Avoid hitting the sauna for at least three days after the procedure.
• Limit sun exposure and avoid using self-tanning creams.
1540 Fractional
The objective of 1540 Fractional laser technology is to boost the production of collagen in the body, which can help get rid of wrinkles and improve scars. The process involves using high-precision microbeams to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin tissue. This speeds up the rate at which healthy tissues are formed.
The Treatment Process
The first step involves preparing the skin for the treatment. The skin is cleaned thoroughly. Next, the specialist moves a laser handpiece over the problematic areas. To help avoid discomfort, the handpiece uses a built-in cooling technology.
Preparation
Before 1540 Fractional laser treatment:
• Avoid glycolic acid treatments.
• Stop using Retin-A and anti-aging products.
• Minimize sun exposure
• Consult your doctor if you use photosensitizing medications.
Aftercare
After 1540 Fractional laser treatment:
• Minimize sun exposure for at least three months after the procedure.
• Use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
• Avoid using scrubs.
• Avoid applying cream to your skin for five days after your session.
Botox
Botox injections include a substance produced by Clostridium botulinum, a bacterium. When injected into the skin, the substance inhibits the movements of overused facial muscles, helping them relax. This in turn allows wrinkled skin relax and become smooth again.
The Treatment Process
In some cases, before administering Botox, the doctor may apply a topical anesthetic cream on the treatment area. Once the anesthetic takes effect, the expert uses fine needles to insert the substance into areas with fine lines and wrinkles.
Preparation
Before Botox treatment:
• Stop taking NSAIDs at least a week before your session.
• Add leafy greens to your diet.
• Avoid consuming apples or garlic in large quantities before your session.
Aftercare
After Botox treatment:
• Avoid strenuous activities for at least six hours after the process.
• Do not lie down for at least four hours after your session.
• Do not try to manipulate the treated area for at least three hours after the procedure.
